Hadith on Blackseed: Black cumin is healing for all diseases except for death Posted: 14 Oct 2012 05:05 PM PDT Khalid ibn Sa'd reported: We went out while Ghalib ibn Abjar was with us. He became sick on the way and he was still sick when we arrived in Medina. Ibn Abi Atiq came to visit him and he said to us, "Treat him with blackseed. Take five or seven seeds and crush them, and put the mixture in both nostrils, for Aisha has narrated to me that she heard the Prophet, peace be upon him, say: This blackseed is healing for all diseases except poison." Aisha said, "What is poison?" He said, "Death." [Sahih Bukhari, Book 71, Number 591] عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا وَمَعَنَا غَالِبُ بْنُ أَبْجَرَ فَمَرِضَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَقَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ فَعَادَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ فَقَالَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ بِهَذِهِ الْحُبَيْبَةِ السَّوْدَاءِ فَخُذُوا مِنْهَا خَمْسًا أَوْ سَبْعًا فَاسْحَقُوهَا ثُمَّ اقْطُرُوهَا فِي أَنْفِهِ بِقَطَرَاتِ زَيْتٍ فِي هَذَا الْجَانِبِ وَفِي هَذَا الْجَانِبِ فَإِنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا مِنْ السَّامِ قُلْتُ وَمَا السَّامُ قَالَ الْمَوْتُ 5363 صحيح البخاري كِتَاب الطِّبِّ بَاب الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ |

| Hadith on Testimony: The Prophet would teach the testimony of faith just as he would teach the Quran Posted: 14 Oct 2012 07:30 AM PDT Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, would teach us the testimony of faith just as he would teach us a chapter from the Quran, and he would say, "Greetings, blessings, prayers, and good things are for Allah; peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and his blessings; peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah; I testify that there is no God but Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." [Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Number 798] عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ فَكَانَ يَقُولُ التَّحِيَّاتُ الْمُبَارَكَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ 403 صحيح مسلم كِتَاب الصَّلَاةِ إن الله هو السلام فإذا قعد أحدكم في الصلاة فليقل التحيات لله |
